Illustrated Gifts

Personal Commissions

Process

Every piece begins with a short conversation. I ask about the person, favorite places, and small details that mean something. From there, I sketch ideas and share a direction for approval. The illustration style is warm and clean, built to print well at different sizes.

Final files include print-ready PDFs and web-friendly images so clients can frame, share, or use them in a card. I provide guidance on paper and framing to keep colors true. This is a collaborative process, and small adjustments are always welcome to get the tone just right.

Results

Recipients feel seen, which is the whole point. The art becomes a keepsake that lives on a wall or a shelf and tells a small story every time someone sees it. That is the lasting value of custom illustration commissions that start with listening.

Lessons Learned

Personal details make the piece. Ask good questions and the drawing writes itself.
